I'm thinking of changing the head unit for a CD/USB/maybe Bluetooth one.  Is it pretty straight forward; standard connector etc?

I swopped my radio cassette for a simple radio/cd player when J first bought the Symphony. Can't rdcall any problems changing it.

Replacing Symphony radio - straight forward? Empty Radio

Post by Bilyco Sun Jul 21, 2013 5:07 pm

I bought a radio from Halfords (Philips) and it had a adaptor to fit the DAB aerial supplied into the radio. The present aerial plugs in ok for the Am & FM radio. Once you have your old one out just push the new casing into the space and slot radio in. Less than 5 minutes.

Sorry Paul and Bilyco, I didn't ever respond and say thanks for this!

Our last surviving car with a radio cassette died the other day, so the Symphony needs upgrading to a CD player to bring it in line with the cars.  There's some amazing value units around for about £70-120.
