There is a switch to turn the charger on in the drop down cupboard beneath the oven up!

zig unit charger operation Empty re charging light

I have heard of some people having the charger unit replaced by specialist fitters (and also AS incidentaly) and the green LED light never worked after. I changed mine myself and there is just one tiny connecter that drives the LED light. You may find that your charger does work but the LED isnt connected

wave Hi Flyingdoc.

Firstly which light are we talking about. On mine there is the green neon to the right (ish) on the control panel that should come on if the EHU is connected and the electrical system is switched on (the switch is in the cupboard under the sink).
The LED for the battery status is to the middle/left of the control panel but only comes on if you press the button next to it ( green if the battery is OK and red if it’s flat).

If you have checked this and the EHU light is on and the battery light is not working you’ll need to check the charger output with a voltmeter (or get a garage to do it for you).
Post the results and somebody may well have some more ideas/advise.

Now doc can we discuss me haemorrhoids! hugegrins

I forgot to say that the led light im refering too is the one on the controll panel not on the charger itself. If the one on the charger isnt on its probably not working or not switched on whereas the one on controll panel may not be conected but your charger may still be working.

You usually find that the light isn't connected at the charger. There is nothing complicated about it - it takes a 12v feed from the charger and lights up when the charger is on. Some replacement chargers don't have the separate 12v output that allows this to work. (You can't just connect it to the charger output because it will pick up the 12v from the battery even if the charger is off)
