Hi Rick

Not familar with the downlights as we don't have such luxuries in our Trident! smile!

Are these the kind of thing? http://www.caravan-components.co.uk/Brass-Halogen-Caravan-Downlight

Otherwise I think I would contact Auto-Sleepers direct, good chance they will have these if not they should put you onto a supplier up!

Thanks for the info CruizingComet, unfortunately it is the wrong light. The assembly I am searching for has a rectangular face plate that accommodates both the round swivel light and a black on/off switch. Looks like I will have to go to Auto Sleepers direct.

Thanks again anyway,

Rick

Hi
That type of light can be obtained from any decent dealers accessory shop, didn't notice if your location was shown before I started the reply but dealers like Spinney, etc all stock them. O'Leareys also stock them and probably will be the cheapest supplier.

When you are looking for your downlight it would be as well to try to find one with LEDs rather than a halogen bulb. My downlight came with a halogen bulb which used a lot of power and produced a lot of heat. I have changed the bulb to an LED.

Good point Squip, these things do get hot and we got replacement LEDs for our spots and think they give a better light and use less juice. You will be able to buy LEDs the same size fitting as the ones normally in the spotlights

Thanks guys, although I`m still looking for the light assembly, I have already replaced the old halogen bulbs for LED`s in the existing down lighters and I agree, a worthwhile and stunning result. The light output is as good, if not better and the power consumption minimal. OK the replacement G4 LED`s are pretty expensive but what a saving!
Thanks again for your input.

Hi Rickyman210.

Don't know if you come to this area but if you do Brownhills at Newark and Lowdham Caravans near Notts both stock this kind of downlighter, they are the same ones in my Executive,
