Battery charger Empty Battery charger

Post by Snip Wed Jun 26, 2024 2:59 pm

Hi all
Can anyone tell me where my battery charger switch is.
Is it the orange switch under the white plastic cap in the cupboard.
And do I ever need to turn it off.

Yes (it's under the opaque cap), and no (you don't need to turn it off).

No idea where it is on your van but you only need to turn it off if connected to an EHU and you don't want to charge the batteries.  If you have solar for example and are paying for your mains electricity you may want to turn it off in the daytime and back on at night if the van is in use, or, leave it off if the van is out of use on your drive but you want the convenience of being connected to an EHU.  I am sure that most will leave it turned on the whole time.
