Re: Auto Sleeper symphony questions ?
thanks everyone..
the symphony came with 3 extra cushions for using to make up 2x single/double bed but the copy handbook that I got Auto-Sleeper to send to me is not clear where the extra cushions fit..there is one large one with hard backing, one small one with hard backing and extra flap of material and one a sort of 'L' shape also with hard backing..should there be more than 3?
also, when I filled the water tank up and turned the pump switch on zig unit on and then turned the sink cold water tap on there was some spluttering and some water but after a few seconds the water stopped..I can hear some clicking as though water pump is working, but no water!..am I forgetting to do something?

I have 3 cushions but only use the one with the flap on when making up the drivers side single bed. After pushing the drivers seat as far forward as it will go (you'll need to lower the squab) lift the "couch" armrest until the hinge is clear and fold it down over the seat runners. The cushion with a flap fits on here. For the other single bed I just use the reversed passenger seat. I only use the single bed option when I'm having a weekend away with one of my sons as normally we sleep across the van and don't use any infill cushions.birder999 wrote:thanks everyone..

I don't have an "L" shaped one?
Possibly an airlock? Don't forget that if the water heater was emptied, then the pump will be filling that up. How long did you leave it running?also, when I filled the water tank up and turned the pump switch on zig unit on and then turned the sink cold water tap on there was some spluttering and some water but after a few seconds the water stopped..I can hear some clicking as though water pump is working, but no water!..am I forgetting to do something?

Re: Autosleeper Symphony Questions.
Hi birder999,
Boxerman has 'stolen my thunder' so to speak with his reply.
I too have the 'L' shaped cushion, and have never used it, mainly as I have no idea either as to where it goes.
Consequently it stays at home with the boards which make up the high level 'bed', as weight and space are at a premium in the Symph.
I would agree with boxerman re. the airlock, start from the shower hot tap and work back towards the main sink, then do the same with the cold. DO NOT switch the water heater on until you have made sure you have no more airlocks in the system.
Hope this helps!

Re: Auto Sleeper symphony questions ?
The L shaped cushion is for making up the passenger side single bed. With the passenger seat facing front push it as far forward as possible and the L cushion fills the gap the L being designed to go round the seat belt pillar. With that bed set up and the side settee pulled towards it the largest cushion helps make a huge double bed.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the info re the 'L' cushion.
As the O/H and myself are a pair of short a***s we use the small double bed and sleep across the van. (Very cozy!)

We use the beds as two singles, using the L cushion but leaving the largest cushion at home as we never use the 'double' configuration and also because space is at a premium without having to store that large cushion.

Re: Auto Sleeper symphony questions ?
I have the exact Campervan as yours- same year and model. Only just bought it over a month ago and like you getting the hang of the different cushion/bed make-up arrangements. What I do like is the variety ! Hope you have your initial problems/issues sorted ;)
