Advice needed about awnings Empty Advice needed about awnings

Post by PaulHargreaves Sun Oct 14, 2012 10:00 pm

We have just picked up an Autosleeper Trident and we are looking for a drive away awning. I am new to owning a camper, so would welcome some advice from people with more experience. I have been looking at the ones on campershop.co.uk but I am baffled! Will their figure of eight clips fit the channel in the black trim above the door or will the pole and clamp fitting work? If these are no good, could anyone suggest a possible make that would work?

Many thanks in anticipation.

You will find a figure of 8 will only work properly when there is a downward force on the rain channel, in other words the channel needs to be higher than the awning.

Please take a moment to introduce yourself here..(you'll find you get more response)
