Symbol roof
Just been reading the many posts with interest concerning "code" letters. On attempting to clean my roof yesterday, (third time only in ten years....yes, disgraceful I admit), I could not see much white, let alone code letters, for the crud and fungi!! Can anyone out there recommend a good fugal cleaner, preferably a spray.? The soap and water wash didn't do much. If successful I promise to try and do better!
Thank you fellow travellers,
Shantyman.

I had this problem on an old caravan and used a 50/50 solution of Fenwicks caravan cleaner which did a great job.

Hi There,
A good gel coat cleaner is Farecla cleaner and polish it's a marine product that gives a good result, but be prepared for some hard work.
Good Luck JB.

Re: Symbol roof
As already mentioned soak the roof with a strong concentration of the Fenwicks caravan cleaner or motorhome cleaner, scrub with a brush then rinse off with a hose... if it's done properly you will be amazed with the results.
If you need to polish afterwards as the other guys say use Farecla Gel coat restorer and wax... great stuff!
