Re: Propane 3.9 sizes.
Hi there,
Time for me to stick my oar in I think!
"When all else fails, read the Manual." is a saying I used many times when I was at work.
On this Forum please read all the Thread carefully before leaping to comment!
....... and always remember the Panda that "eats, shoots and leaves"!!
Best regards,
Ian
PS We always try to stay where it is warm so we use 4.5kg Calor Butane in the UK (bought at Morrisons) and Camping Gaz 970 (bought almost anywhere) in Europe.

I know which sites you compared frank. But alalong I have said I use a 4.5 butane bottle. The calor web site says £15.99---but---you will pay delivery charges which will bring the price right up. i have done these exersises before to get the best deal, so I know I am saving about eight quid.
I also have more gas than the propane version for the same money.
I give up
Frank
Sorry Frank. Sorry about the typo too, it can happen to the best of us. Anyway. Thank you for pointing out how stupid I am. I dont know how I managed to get this far in life without your help
I think I will stick to PROPANE though as I get more in the bottle which helps when I am away.
Regards, David.

Err. Actually don't you get slightly less. With the advantage that I'll never stop gassing up in low temperatures?
Well not unless you like the odd around Northern Norway/ Greenland etc.

Hello Brod. Thanks for correcting me. I meant butane not propane.

Re: Propane 3.9 sizes.
Sorry to bump such an old thread but we’ve just bought a Trident and are encountering the same problem - the new 3.9kg bottles will fit but only if inserted at an angle - meaning you can’t get a 2nd bottle in the cupboard. Anyone found a way around this?
