Topaz in for leak
After our first night away the other weekend our van sprang a leak with an inch of water in the under-sink storage (bathroom).
We thought it was a pipe problem as we had quite a bit of sputtering the morning we packed up to come home.
Took it in to Todd's today and they tested the water system under pressure, was OK so they think it is coming from the Fiamma awning the previous owner had fitted (not by them). Seems they awning was not bolted as it should have been and the seal was leaking and with so much rain we have had it was running down the inside and all over the place.
They will have to strip the bathroom back and confirm where the leak is before they can deal with it and then it will have to be dried out and the awning fixed on properly. So that's us without the van for a week. Very helpful service department, showing us exactly where the problem is so we are confident that it will be fixed fully, just a shame that we can't make the most of the (at present) sunny weather.
On the bright side, at least we found out now with the heavy rainfall and not weeks(or months) down the line - it could have gone on dripping for ages without us realising.
