Removal of Fridge Harmony Auto-sleeper
Hi
Can anyone advise simply how to remove an RM4200 Fridge from a 1998 Harmony Auto-sleeper please and how to change the 240 volt heating element please.
Thanks very much
David

Re: Removal of Fridge Harmony Auto-sleeper
David,
For an RM4217 in a Harmony you need to remove the four blanking caps - two each side - which are just inside the fridge interior. These caps reveal four screws securing the fridge to the cabinet. The cabinet can then be 'shuffled-out' to a small degree but no further as the gas pipe will then be restricting any further movement. Removing the lower ventillation panel on the outside of the van should enable you to gain access to the appropriate union for disconnection purposes. You'll then need to disconnect both 12V and 240V feeds to the top panel before finally fully withdrawing the fridge.
As an aside I know that AS fitters handling gas lines are CORGI trained: I suspect that you should be too!
Hope this helps.
