Thetford gas hob.
Hi guys,
Gas oven and. Hob work o.k except front right gas ring on hob doesn't have a gas supply.
Any ideas gratefully received.

Has it ever worked? If yes, a possible cause is the jets have got blocked or wet whilst cleaning the hob

I completely took off the ring, and removed the jet, turned on the gas control and no gas was coming out of that ring.

If its not the burner it can only be the valve on the front of the hob but I have no experience of that failing or my current hob or previous hobs in caravans. You may be in luck as the Thetford oven/hob appears to have a 3 year warranty.

Previous threads about control knob not working have been solved by placing a small piece of cooking foil (folded 2 or 3 times) inside the knob spindle hole, so that the spindle get pushed in sufficiently to open the valve. Worth a try?
