Topaz side panels
To fellow T4 based Topaz owners.
I have just removed the two black plastic side panels from my 2000 Topaz ready to have the windows vinyl wrapped.
The side panels are complete, but have a few extra screw holes where I have moved screws into stronger bits of batten in the past, but these could be easily sorted with some black silicone.
Have you lost one, or want be prepared for when you do? These are impossible to buy now, so a rare opportunity to get a pair!
A couple of pictures attached I took last week to send to the vehicle wrapping company before I took them off. They didn't want to remove them, and now I know why! Quite a job to get the old battens and glue off
Drop me a PM and make an offer if interested. Available for collection from Droitwich, Worcestershire.

Re: Topaz side panels
Kind thought.
Whilst in the mood, I'd HAVE to colour match these fridge vents, and ehu cover to the van colour, even approximately!?
Saw a red Adria Twin the other day, all the plastics such as those and window frames were white. My OCD can't cope with that! And a £10 fix!
Oops, see you're wrapping it, hopefully including the above!
Always fancied a Topaz...

A vinyl wrap is a good choice IMO. I can recall that this forum's Daisy Mae had that done to a similar van and it looked much better than the original panels. Please post up photos when it's done!

Ok, here's your 'after' photos. I had the rear window done with a privacy tint while they were at it as well.
And, no I didn't get the fridge vents done as they really don't bother me that much! They are going to quote to replace the scruffy graphics though at some point.
An excellent job at a reasonable price by Ultimate Wraps in Hartlebury, Worcestershire. Can highly recommend them.

For comparison, here's how the back window looked before;

Getting back to the original point of my post, the black plastic panels are available if anyone wants to make me an offer

Re: Topaz side panels
That’s a vast improvement over the plastic panels. Had we kept the Duetto I would have done the same. One of our pannels was held in by a couple of wood screws that had gone rusty leaving marks down the panel.
A future project for the Rienza will be to replace the graphics. The n/s has faded badly because that side is facing the sun parked on our drive. It will not a DIY job so I will have to save up for that.

Re: Topaz side panels
I've seen a few good reviews on this product for restoring graphics....

No experience of it myself and its not cheap but cheaper than a set of graphics.

Thanks for that. Yes, I have been using that on the GRP top to remove oxidisation and it's making a good job of it. One more machine polish with the meguiars, and it will be ready to polish and seal with a suitable GRP product. Probably this https://www.meguiars.co.uk/product/boat-rv-pure-wax-473ml/
The graphics look like they have been attacked by a pressure washer at some point, so are beyond help!

Thanks for the suggestion Paul. Unfortunately the graphics on ours are faded beyond restoration age not helping.

Re: Topaz side panels
I really want to do this with our Topaz! Will have to work on Mrs Grey who likes the authenticity of the plastic panels.
Great job and thanks for posting the pics!
(And apologies that I’m not in the market to take your old panels off your hands even though this was your original intention of posting this topic!)
