Kingham microwave
Hi. Has anyone removed the microwave including the cabinet in a Kingham (i think a Warwick XL would be the same). Any info/ideas would be appreciated Thanks

You may find the thread below of use. You’ll see that Weegie reports removing the microwave and cabinet.
I’m sure he’ll be along soon and see this. I think you have to make 5 posts before you can use the private messaging function.

Re: Kingham microwave
Yes, we removed the microwave and the cabinet too.
We left the shelf above in place, moved the strip light to underneath this shelf and changed the power point to a standard 3 pin socket (which we never use!)
It makes using the kitchen sink easier and really opens up the view out of the sliding door.
Our van was beginning to see the known issue where the microwave cabinet begins to separate from the adjoining unit, so, that prompted the change for us (and we rarely used the microwave).
Note that when I say 'we' in reference to the work, I mean our preferred motorhome workshop!

Re: Kingham microwave
Thank you all. Much appreciated. It's the only thing that i dislike about the van so far. it will never get used (other than as a bread bin) and blocks the view from the settee. Just need to find someone to do the work.

Re: Kingham microwave
Removed microwave mainly lack of use but also worried that in time it may fall out. Added a chrome bar and two baskets
