Habcheck on Ford Autosleeper Duetto 2002
Hi All,
Just been told for the middleman between myself and the seller of a Duetto 2002 that habchecks are not really not necessary and he has never heard of a rehab being done on a "high top" .
I don't think this is correct, please can you tell me what you think about this.
Many thanks

Hab checks are not necessary if you are able to check things yourself. An expert opinion is valuable if you are not the practical type, especially when considering a purchase.
I don’t understand the rehab of a high top phrase

Hab checks may not be technically necessary but, for peace of mind, I always get one done. As you are looking at an 'older' vehicle a hab check would be a good idea as it could identify things which may not be apparent on a quick look at a van (higher damp readings in specific areas, gas leaks etc...)

If "the middlemnan" is avoiding a hab check he may have something to hide. Def get one done - ideally an independent one.
