Drive away awning for Ford Autosleeper 2002
i'm looking for a drive away awning for my Ford Duetto 2002 Autosleeper.
I wondered if anyone had any experience of these awnings and were able to help me make a purchase.
I've been told Vanguard is a good make?
Cathy.

I have a brand new Khyam Motordome quick erect tail gate awning for sale on eBay right now, I bought it in October 2019 error. Only erected once to check it, never used.

I bought a Motordome Tourer for my L2H3 Transit based van (not A/S). I think this is the same base van as used for the Duetto. I found that you could not attach the awning satisfactorily because of the van's basic configuration.
You cannot throw straps over the van because the most forward ones go across the sloping panel above the windscreen and just slide down. If you attach to the van's gutter, or the front of a wind out awning casing you leave a triangular gap at the forward top edge of the sliding door opening.
All in all not very satisfactory. We still used the awning however but just didn't attempt to attach it, so it was just a tent really.
