Hi, we have a Warwick XL with twin rear beds which are used as a seating area during the day and make into beds at night.  My question is, has anyone looked into, or had a double auto drop down bed fitted above the seats which saves making up the beds at night?  I know that technology has moved on and that these beds are now available for self build van builds, I'm just doing research into the possibility/feasibility of having this option added, and if it can, by whom?  I'm not sure how much longer my back can cope with making up the beds every night!    Thanks in advance. up!

Surely it would block the use of the overhead lockers and I doubt you'd find one narrow enough to fit between the lockers. With storage already at a premium in the van conversions, I wouldn't want to lose the use of the lockers. Is it really so hard to unroll a sleeping bag and use single beds?

I had the same thought as Paul about the overhead lockers and what about the roof light?

We never found it a problem to remove scatter cushions and fling down sleeping bags and pillows in a Warwick and we are both back sufferers. Are you perhaps overthinking the motorhome concept and trying to recreate the beds used at home?

Not enough height anyway.  It would probably be cheaper to change your van to one with a fixed rear bed.
