Sink water
This is my first post so hopefully it’s in the correct forum.
We have just purchased a 2005 autosleeper trident vw.
Our tap which looks original has red and blue as if hot is an option. We try it on the hot side it runs slower than on cold side but no heat.
Our manuals don’t mention anything other than fresh water tanks.
Are we missing something or is it just the tap they used.
And cold is our only water supply.
We have a deisel heater but no other signs of boilers or anything else that would heat water?
Thanks
Scott&Tracy

Re: Sink water
Not familiar with the van - if there is a boiler there will be a vent on the outside of the van where the burner unit would be with a drain plug? Boiler normally on the offside under a bench seat or under the furniture.

Re: Sink water
Hi I expect you will have found out by now but there is only cold water in the Trident, at least in my T5 2008 version. Need to boil the kettle for hot.

Re: Sink water
Great that you are already helping others so soon after joining the forum, welcome by the way
Sadly I don’t think you will get much response from the O/P (although I would be happy if proved wrong!) as they posted in Dec last year, asked the question and disappeared just as quickly.
It happens a lot and is very frustrating.
