Inset tip up sink in Duetto
Hi, We have a 1994 model Duetto. The drain channel is separate, there is a crack at the left and below the hot water tap and the drop down sink drops lower when water is added. So the amount of water is limited, unless you want wet feet. Does anyone know where we can obtain a replacement unit please? Janet and Brian.

Hi there,
I would suggest that your best bet would be at a caravan/motorhome breaker as they are fairly common.
Alternatively, it may be worth your while trying for a repair with an epoxy paste and products such as Araldite.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

You could try OLeary Motorhomes near Beverley (ads in most mags) or website

Drop down sink
Hi Janwood, have you sorted your sink yet? If not we have just removed ours from a 1995 Duetto and you are welcome to it if you want it, you will have to arrange pick up but you are more than welcome to it.

Re: Inset tip up sink in Duetto
Hi to all,
Seems these tip up sinks are pretty flimsy, I repaired the drain area on mine with silicon sealant, Mine also cracked where it hinges..I repaired that part with 'no more nails' adhesive. It seems the hinge area cracked because the lugs that hold the sink up were worn, I used 2 felt pads on either side of the sink to hold the sink in the up position ..very secure now & its been ok for over a year. I'le post some pics up of the repair if you want.

Hi Paul.
I would think that the sink you have removed would be the same as the one in my 95 Executive. Should Janwood not take up your offer I would be pleased to have it.
Cheers,
Mick.

Thank you Paul and Caroline for the sink and making us so welcome. It is a bit larger than ours but we're sure we can make it fit. Sorry to Mick, keep trying. Janet and Brian Wood.
