The might be a booster unit in the cupboard that needs to be switched on. Like this.

Re: Tv arieal socket
I’m not saying this is your problem but the Coax cabling/connections in A/S vans is well known on here to be pretty bad. I didn’t get a decent signal (in a brand new van) until I replaced it all, I was shocked by what I found along the way. That flying saucer on the roof isn’t the best either, I replaced mine with a Status 570 which much improved things.

Hopefully someone with a Kemerton will come along and point you to the location of tv Ariel booster which will be there somewhere and needs to be on.

the xl has the box in the unit above the sockets to the right
here is a pictures on my kemrton xl
all my fittings I have checked as they are not done very good by A/S and I have no problems with what is fitted and have put a tv socket to the n/s above the side door as can be seen on my kemerton xl improvement post

There have been several recent threads on this. If you search “TV Aerial” they will come up, but make sure you type “Aerial” correctly.
In our van everything that AS had done was suspect, from the socket in the side of the van right through. For the moment I have given up trying to sort it and just use a small portable magnetic mount stubby aerial placed on the roof with the cable running direct to the TV through a skylight. That works in most places but if not I just use the internet through my phone, or have a quiet evening!

Should be in the overhead locker kitchen side shouldnt it?
As DB said, the quality is rubbish - I also found if the booster dial is set to high/low I get zero reception. Doesn’t bother us, I have an unlimited EE sim and we never bother with aerial TV.

you can connect to the out socket in the box as a test .when you remove the section to the right of my picture has more fittings and need checking as the great work done by A/S

i suggest you tune the tv in on your house aerial first before messing with the van.
