Contol Panel Problems with 2008 Warwick
Now in our 3rd year of ownership, our 2008 Autosleeper Warwick hase developed an electrical problem which appears to be related to the control panel. This has severely curtailed our travels this year. It is a Zone Follow MES like this one....

On a trip in May the control panel started beeping as soon as the engine was started, after that the screen went blank and it was impossible to turn on any of 12v electrics in the habitation area. I took it to a local repair shop and they agreed to send away the control panel for repair. I believe it went to Motorcycle Electrical Services in Warwick who might have been the original manufacturer. They fixed it and it was fitted to the van and everything worked normally.
We then went on a 10 day trip with any problems but on starting the engine at then end of our trip the panel failed again in the same fashion. MES agreed to another repair at no cost. This time it came back and did not work. It went back for a third time and again it did not work when fitted to the van. This is now about 4 months after the problem originally occurred. My repair shop tells me it is very difficult to talk to anybody technical at MES as there might be another issue with the wiring in the van which is causing this issue. The repair shop is very helpful and i know they will do their best.
The control panel appears to be connected to a bank of relays under the cooker and I guess its function is mainly to activate these. Does anybody know of a company who would be able to retrofit an alternative control panel or simply a bank of switches? Another issue is that the wiring in the van does not seem to be the same as the schematic supplied in the owner's manual. This make any diagnosis more difficult.
As you can imagine we have lost confidence to do any long trips as the electrics could fail at any time. Would appreciate any advice on on getting a reliable solution to this problem
Many thanks
Graham
