Most likely to be the indication for the blown air heating system - that's what the LED in the same position on my Symbol does.

Hi Andy, its definitely the warning light telling you the heating is switched on. I had a '08 Warwick and there is no reference in the hand book to it, took me a while to find out what it was for.

Hi flying high
While iv got you any idea about the heating. am sure I read that it maybe electric and
diesel if so how do I know which its on
only 2 weekend ago we had it on most of the night and on the Sunday when we were leaving the diesel was very low from just over 1/4 of a tank. I was under the impression
that it switched automatically?
Andy
sorry should of said in was plugin to power.

Hi Andy,
The green light shows the diesel heating is on and that the electric heating is on whilst on grid, (240 volts) you should have a black controller at the rear of the van with three settings...off in the middle red light at the top for diesel heating whilst off grid. when on 240 volts it will automatically go to electric heating, like a fan heater but we find that very noisy in our van so use a separate small portable fan heater. the lower blue light is for cold air.
The amazing thing about the diesel heater is that it uses very little fuel and the unit is fitted to lorries for overnight sleeping.
Hope this makes sense.
All the best, regards Mike

Hi Mike,
many thanks mike yes it all makes sense. I too tried a small fan heater but it tripped the fuse all the time so we got a oil radiator only 800 watt so should work better and could be left on overnight.
thanks again

Hi Andy
I too have a 2008 Warwick, The heater in that didn't appear to be switching over, you can tell because the fuel pump will keep clicking if still on diesel heating, I had a look through the small hole to where the heater is situated and noticed a cable running along the floor from left to right, I managed to get hold of the cable which had a three hole kettle fitting on the end which was not connected to anything, up above the access hole is the electric heater unit, at a really strange angle you should just about see where this cable fits in the top of the unit, it's a bit of a fight but you should be able to get it into the unit, it will then change over when on hook up, it appears mine was never connected from new, and I can't work out why a decent hatch wasn't incorporated into this area as all the services are there.

Hi Andy
We've had ours a few years now, been all over the place in it, a few things drive me mad but overall we love it, it occurred to me after my last post that I presumed the heater switch on the consumer unit would be switched on but if off it would still allow the heater to operate on diesel, just a thought.

Hi Neil-mike,
I took the panel out this afternoon so I could see the heater better and low and behold
yes the 3 pin lead there not connected to anything it could be vibration loosing it as its not a snug fit may have to use something tape to keep it in so fingers crossed that's
that problem sorted
thanks again for the advise
