Towing Eye
I have a 2017 Symbol on a fiat Ducato. I hope I never need it but do they come with a towing eye as standard ? and it so where should I look for it ? Bill

On our 2016 WXL the jack and towing eye are under the passenger front seat in a plastic box

2017 Kingham is the same as FreelanderUK suggests…. In the Jack case under the front passenger seat.

Re: Towing Eye
Just a thought, if you do find it, it MIGHT be a left hand thread, have a practice.....Not the sort of problem you want on a wet motorway in the dark!!

Re: Towing Eye
It’s a right hand thread. I practised the other day on top of the Pennines!
Stupidly I put a front wheel just off the black stuff in a lay by whilst avoiding a carelessly parked car. I blame it on being too used to 4x4’s after driving almost nothing else for nigh on fifty years, but the wife just thinks I was careless.
It was reassuring however to see that Peugeot have provided a good meaty forged eye, sufficient to withstand an enthusiastically driven tractor, but if you do have to use the eye do make sure you screw it in fully, using a Tommy bar if necessary. There is something that serves in the tool kit as well.
I’ve promised the wife I won’t do it again!
