towing
I have a 1989 Renault Trafic pop top autosleeper (1700 petrol) and hve just bought a boat on a 4 wheeled braked trailer weighing about 2000kg. Can I legally tow this? Is it good idea? Vic. Any help appreciated.

Hope this helps.
Requirements regarding trailers used on the road are given in the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, as amended (C&U) and the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989, as amended (RVLR).

Hi Vic and welcome to the forum
Sorry to be a boring old f--t, but i think you might get a few more replies if you 'introduce' yourself in ('New members' etc)
Is it Victor or Victoria, etc etc.
Meant with the best intentions
Cheers, Brian
