autosleeper duetto mpg

Hi i have seen a couple of autosleeper duettos i am interested in . both are 2006  automatics think they are .2.4 what would a ballpark figure for  fuel consumption on a long run

Be advised that skilled workshops and spares for that model of 'auto' were IMHO sparse when we had a 2006 Duetto auto back in the day. The 'selected gearing' paddles on the steering wheel were all to easy to activate when cornering. The 'manual' was a different matter.

I have had 5 motorhome now, one petrol, 4 very different diesels. All have had carefully recorded fuel and miles written in a book, no dodgy computers. All manual gbox.
All have done 27mpg +/- 1

We have had two manual Duettos, one on a MK5 Transit and the other on a MK7, both returned 32 mpg measured over a total of 120,000 miles, both here in the UK and (mostly) abroad. I would expect the auto to be similar, as its a form of robotised manual box and not subject to the losses of a torque converter

Thanks for the Replies the van has been sold, so think i will be looking for a manual version
