Duetto autosleeper
I have a 1996 autosleeper duetto, which is a ford transit, and it needs a new cable for the heater control. My friendly garage can't get one from Fords, can anyone suggest where I can get one from?
Many thanks Sue

Maybe try some local vehicle dismantalers, or online used commercial parts.

Alternatively, any decent local breakers yard should be able to get you sorted.
Another i forgot to mention; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] almost guarantee they will stock one.

Thanks I tried phoning transitparts and got someone who couldn't understand English. She said she was putting me through to her colleague but cut me off. I've sent an email but no reply yet.
I'm busy for the next week so will have another go later.

They are pretty good Sue. I've had a few parts off them through their ebay site. There is also a freephone number....0800 0665095 if that helps. If they haven't got one in stock, ask if they can recommend somewhere. It's also worth signing up to the Transit forum as there are some very helpful people on there and if you can't get a brand new one, someone on the Transit forum will undoubtedly have a spare one among their Garage junk!

Re: Duetto autosleeper
I'm hoping I've sourced one. Transit parts haven't responded to my email and the phone call failed but I've found someone breaking a transit Mk5. If any one else wants parts let me know.
