Warwick xl gas issues
Hi Everyone, just bought a new Warwick xl ,having gas problems.Received the van with a full tank of gas, after 1week of just having the frost setting on overnight the gauge showed low,the dealer changed the gauge now showing full but the mechanic says the gas tank is empty.I saw a post sometime ago by Paulmold who said that dealers needed to reroute pipe work.Any thoughts?
Regards Mark.

Will the oven and rings light, if so you have gas if not it either air in the system or empty ,try the obvious first
The gauges are very unreliable and just an indication of gas present , my gauge goes to 2 green light but still have half a tank left

Re: Warwick xl gas issues
take the cover off and look at the gauge on the tank as to the level gauge in the camper

Rerouting pipework was to do with Whale heating pipes, can't remember mentioning pipework other than that.Marky717 wrote:Hi Everyone, just bought a new Warwick xl ,having gas problems.Received the van with a full tank of gas, after 1week of just having the frost setting on overnight the gauge showed low,the dealer changed the gauge now showing full but the mechanic says the gas tank is empty.I saw a post sometime ago by Paulmold who said that dealers needed to reroute pipe work.Any thoughts?

Re: Warwick xl gas issues
There seems to be some inconsistencies here. Received van with full gas tank.(assume you saw that on gauge). After week of frostsetting (again assume it was being used) showed low (what’s low?) would have gone down. Dealer changed gauge and now reads full but mechanic says it’s empty, why give it back to you with two opposite conditions.
As been mentioned gas rings is best test to see if it is empty.
Once you do establish its full then any indication from that point to empty will be something you have to get used to with your van as the gauge is not very accurate. There has been talk here in the past on this subject which you may be interested in via the search facility. My gauge for instance when reading empty is actually half full. Each time you fill up with gas keep a log of gauge indication and how much you put in. 20ltrs is full and you will eventually get a measure of your tank contents against the gauge indication.
Hope you get sorted soon.

The gauge on the tank and gauge in the camper should read the same and not reading full but the tank is empty.if this is the case this is very poor service
