Dashcam

Hi All

I’m looking at getting a Dashcam fitted to our Brourton. Would anyone have any recommendations not sure if it’s possible to have a rear view camera to ?

Re rear cams, go to members FACTSHEETS, find Executive, a new project, open that and find the part re my rear view cameras. Know different motorhome but same issues

If you're planning on crossing the channel, make sure it's easily removable as they are illegal in some countries.

Particularly Portugal, Austria and Luxembourg.
In many others their use is either very restricted or, for example, cannot be used as evidence

Are you sure dashcams are illegal, I thought it only applied to satnavs with speed camera alerts?

Can only speak for Austria, we were involved in a minor traffic incident and the police arrived, I pointed out we had it all on dashcam and he even thanked me. Technically they are illegal but I doubt you would ever get fined for having one, think it depends on what you are using it for and road safety seems acceptable.

Very strange, no mention of dashcams on Gov website

Just as well we only went to France, I did the headlight deflectors, but didn't bother changing the EU on the number plate or sticking UK on the van, just the usual breakdown and health ins.
