cracked / Delaminated window
Hi
The window on the drivers side has a crack in it and when it rains the space fills with water. (I've considered adding a couple of fish and calling it a feature) I have got repair
adhesives from, Bondrite - who for the record were extremely helpful.
However I have one slight problem, how do you take the window out? I assume you detach the slide bars but then what?
Thanks in advance
David

Funny problem that one! One of mine split on the Topaz in the same way. Taking the window out is very hard. You must remove the blind to reveal the fastening and then fight the mastic used to seal the unit in..
I’d advise you to avoid the issue as your bonding adhesive is likely to fail anyway. After much hard work removing the fitting I had to bite the bullet and carry out a virtually invisible repair using Gorilla Crystal Clear Tape. It’s expensive but superb and dooesn’t discolour

Hi,
Thanks for that, I've been looking but I'm buggered if I can find how it comes out, that could be the reason.
Off to amazon for some gorilla tape it is
