Duetto side window repair

Hi, we would appreciate any advice on repairing one of the top side windows on our Duetto, the part number and cost is: hi-top window part no. WW0149 costing £175.55 + VAT,  carriage will be £12.50 + VAT. Now is it a job that we could fit ourselves or is it one for the professionals? I.e. has any one fitted one? I have posted a photo of the cracked window below, any info would be great.....

I would try glueing it first , is it just the outer skin cracked? The right glue and then polish you will be hard pressed to see a crack.

Hi jennyandpeter, I'm afraid it does need a replacement as the crack is right through both sections of window, and the end sticks out slightly, I.e. won't sit flush. It's not letting water in yet but rain does collect in between the two panes. It was like it when we bought it a year ago. We are temped to have ago at fixing it ourselves, just wondered if there was any advise on doing it. Thanks for your help thou, if it was just the outer pane then glue would be the answer.
