New owner with some questions!
Hi all. I've just bought a 2020 AS Fairford and have a few newbie questions!
Touchscreen
My van has an EC700 with touchscreen. The screen is stuck to the back of the surround (which holds the screen and whale panel) with adhesive, however the screen has slid down. Only by 5mm or so, but you can see the rough edge and inner workings. There is no obvious way to remove the panel to adjust things, as there are no screw holes. Any ideas how to get this panel out?
Whale/Touchscreen
I saw a handover video of a different fairford. In their touchscreen options, they had Whale settings. However, mine has truma settings, even though there's a whale system installed. Can this be updated?
Wiring for Maxxfan
I installed a 12v maxxfan in place of the mid Remis 400x400. I was happy to find some flex already in situ which leads down near to the power unit, I assume put in place for AC. I had might as well us it for the fan. How should I wire this to the system? Can it be connected to the EC700 unit and fused, or perhaps to a nearby light or 12v cable?
Many thanks all

Welcome. Any wiring for air con would be 230v , I think, unless latest air cons are 12v? Mine was 230v only. Sorry can't help with other questions.

It's a maxxfan. It's 12v. I'm just using the existing wiringPaulmold wrote:Welcome. Any wiring for air con would be 230v , I think, unless latest air cons are 12v? Mine was 230v only. Sorry can't help with other questions.

I know that, I'm just pointing out that the existing wiring may be 230v.Pablotti wrote:It's a maxxfan. It's 12v. I'm just using the existing wiringPaulmold wrote:Welcome. It's not connected to anything at either end... it's just a run of flex. It's just there to be wired in. As I'm not putting in aircon, I had might as well use it for this to save running cables.Paulmold wrote:I know that, I'm just pointing out that the existing wiring may be 230v.Pablotti wrote:It's a maxxfan. That's OK then, you said in opening post that it lead to power unit, I presumed it was wired in to it.
