seal around slidind door
Hi everyone has anyone had trouble with rain water leaking in from side door . I have a 2012 symbol, it seems to happen with heavy rain and is coming in at top passenger seat corner, wondered if fitting a new seal is easy. any advice appreciated.

Re: seal around slidind door
I vaguely remember that it's possible to pull the sliding door inwards against the seal when shutting by adjusting the fitting that the door locks onto on the pillar......
But I may have that wrong.....memory isn't that sharp these days!

Hi
My 2004 Symbol sliding door did'nt shut properly. When closing on the outside I had to press on the back edge to help it in. On the inside I would open the sliding window and pull it in. Not sure if there is any adjustment on the back edge.

A little rubber lube may improve things as well. VW recommend it for their sliding side windows etc
