walking on the roof
i have just bought a 2010 mercedes auto sleeper Devon will it be ok to walk on the roof to clean it, shall i need a plank ?

It's a question that gets asked regularly, and sadly the forum search tool is poor.
But if you're willing to scroll through lots and lots of irrelevant threads, a search for "walking on the roof" will find you quite a lot of relevant info - you may need to spend a while to find one directly related to the Devon, though.

Isn't the Devon a Nuevo on a different base vehicle, so any thread relating to Nuevo roof will help.

It’s the Marquis version of the Stanton on a Sprinter so very likely the same as the Nuevo, Paul.
Personally, I’d never attempt to stand on the roof of a coachbuilt.

The maximum load of 8 kg per square foot and not exceeding an overall load of 75 kg on the roof is nigh on impossible to achieve.
