Cab light Empty Cab light

Hi all, I have a 97 Symphony on a boxer base, when the side door is open the cab interior light is on, is their away to turn off whilst the door is left open on a warm day
Tried to rock the light from side to side but no joy.

Isn't it a three way  rocker with 'off' in the middle.?
It's 9 years since I owned my Symphony so could bee remembering wrong.

Thanks Paul, doesn’t seem to switch off in any of the three positions, only when doors are closed
