Damp/moisture in mdf window surrounds
Good Morning.
Recently I noticed that on my peugeot boxer AS windrush 2013 damp or moisture had gotten into the plastic coated mdf window cut Outs on the sliding door side and driver door side windows.
The MDF has expanded and split the plastic.
Has anyone encountered this issue and found d the cause and fix?
I'll try and get some pictures later.

There are drainage holes at ends of window slides. If they get blocked then water will seep inside.

Thanks.
Looks like this has been the issue on checking. I assume the thin plastic running down is the channel.

The problem can be caused by not allowing a gap in the sealant around the window for the drain tube thereby squashing the tube, or simply the drain clogged by debris. Use an airline to clear or use a wire coat hanger straightened to feed down the drain , any water should drain from under the bottom of the window and run down the door/panel.
