Moisture meters
Just seen these two in my regular Machine Mart email flyer:
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/brennenstuhl-moisture-detector-md/
[scroll down a bit for the other one]
Don't know if this is a good price or if the items are any good or not as it is something I've never needed. Just thought I'd pass it on to the group.

Re: Moisture meters
What is good about the first one is the 'hold' function. When using mine under the bench seats against the wall, it is too dark to read the scale and so I have to shine a torch with one hand while using the meter in the other, the hold feature would be much easier. Both types of course are pin type which pierces the surface. There are non-invasive ones which cost a lot of money and you find most service engineers use that type. Having said that I have found non-invasive ones on Ebay at the same price as those from Machine Mart, but only from Hong Kong....

I've hand the one Frank has given the link to, for a couple of years......mostly used for moisture content of logs, before burning....
Does, of course, have other uses.......
Very good bit of kit............

Re: Moisture meters
I bought the 2nd one shown, decent bit of kit, spoiled by the fact it doesn't save the reading as someone has already said.
