Kemerton (not xl)
Anyone any advice on how to keep to relatively small (border & Lakeland) dogs safe in Kemerton whilst travelling. And secondly out of the bed whilst sleeping
I’m new to all this!
Thanks

Re: Kemerton (not xl)
Hi , my mongrel jack russel X poodle sits on a small rug between the front seats . She is secured with a harness and a short lead .
At night I have a folding canvas ( cage ) her bed fits in and the front zips up .
After our last walk she goes straight into her bed . Zipped up and asleep.
The side have mesh with a roll down cover . I’m sure after a little practice they will get used to their bed . Tess sleeps in one at home it’s her place .
Hope this helps regards David

Considered a comfy doggie bed in the shower/toilet area for travelling?

As described above, we use one of these as both a travel cage and night time bed. Folds up out of the way when not needed.....

Thanks - I wondered about the soft cages but wasn’t sure how stable they were. Good idea to use it at home too - will def pick up on these. Cheers!

Worked well also with our medium sized dog, though I had a strong feeling she didn't like it that much when placed in the shower cubicle; especially when we were driving on a bumpy road or turning a sharp corner. Sad to say she is not with us anymore.IanH wrote:Considered a comfy doggie bed in the shower/toilet area for travelling?
