Hello All,

Would anyone know where to get some white (white/grey?) touch up paint for a VW Trooper T4 circa 2000 please? Or would it be as simple as asking a VW dealer rather than Auto Sleeper spares.

Regards

Andrew

Any paint from 2000 will have faded from the original colour so a touch up of the true colour will stand out. Go to an auto paint supplier,  they should have a paint scanner and will  supply a touch up to match your existing shade.

As Paul says, for larger areas it's unlikely you'll get a good match, but if you just want to touch in minor scratches and defects, you should find the paint code printed (along with lots of other useful info) on the front or inside the front cover of the service history book.

If you search for that code online you should find plenty of suppliers, including plenty on Ebay. A VW dealer will sell you a touch-up paint stick or aerosol, but it will cost a bit more!

The code for 'Grey Whte' ' is r902 but as Roopert says the code should be some where.
