just wondering does anyone here use a toilet tent when on camp sites? just wondered how these were viewed by site owners? hate hiking across sites in the middle of the night to go to the loo

Hey Rocknrolla
We got one of these from Argos last summer, for £25 it was the cheapeast around that we could find and TBH it looks much much nicer in the flesh as its a dark green (unlike the yucky blue/turquoise colour argos show) it's classy mate honest

As for using them on site we have only put ours up on one occasion, we took it with us when we went to the isle of wight last year but TBH the weather was so lousy and we stayed at a few different sites so we didnt have it up for the whole trip, but no one seemed to mind or take any notice when it was up, we just shove our porta potti in there  as its easier than trying to get it out of our locker in the middle of the night :big thumbs up

No problem mate
Yes really easy to put up
It comes in a stuff sack just like a sleeping bag, the frame is made up of fibre glass rods which just spring together with an elastic type cord inside the tubing really easy to do, then you just attach the tent to the frame and secure with ground pegs to the base and four guy ropes.
Its nice and secure onece erected, certainly as good as any other for the money I would say, time wise to put up about 10-15 mins taking your time, after a bit of practice I reckon you would do it quicker, hope that helps?

Hi rocknrolla
I use a toilet tent, would be lost without it - cant abide crossing the camp site at night in the dark, nor first thing in the monring when I wake up ..... took much info maybe :)
Cost around £20 and i havent had any complaints from site owners.
