Toilet Empty Toilet

Post by Davehastings Tue Jul 30, 2019 7:06 am

Our Thetford C2 on our Symbol (99) has just stopped flushing. We removed the pump and tested it using a battery and it works fine, so it can’t be the pump. And, we checked the fuse. which seems fine. We removed the micro switch and cleaned the wires but it’s still not working.
All other electrics in the van seem to be working fine. Does anyone have any advice?

Does the C2 have a printed circuit board? If so, they have been known to be affected by moisture and require replacement on other Thetford models. You could also swap the fuse, just in case it's acting up.

Did you test the operation of micro switch ? You say the fuse "seems" fine,if you have a meter and able to test continuity both these items can be confirmed sound,as can cables and connections which should narrow down the problem.Maybe you have friend who has meter if you have not.Happy hunting.
