Trooper Solar Panels
Hello All,
In my quest for a Trooper, i am viewing one tomorrow (T4, 2004 reg). This one has a solar panel with a solar charge controller panel which looks to be above one of the windows, below the pop up roof. Would this be an Auto Sleeper or an after market edition? It has a built in timer and USB sockets. I'm guessing after market as i can't see any info after trawling the internet.
Regards
Andrew

Re: Trooper Solar Panels
Virtually certain not original, controller has usb for a start
That said at least it has one, the curly cables allow roof to raise I assume?
Better to have solar than not imho!!!

Re: Trooper Solar Panels
I don't ~think~ A/S ever offered a factory solar panel option on the Trooper - I can't recall ever seeing one.
That installation is not ideal - when we fitted our 150W panel we put the controller right next to the battery and wired down to it with 4mm2 cable.
