Warwick XL Television power
Having just purchased a 2018 Warwick XL. It's currently being prepared for collection so unable to check. I noted the television only has a 12v socket. How then would the TV power work under EHU. Does the Warwick allow both leisure battery and electric to supply power to this socket? I have read through many posts but unable to find mentions. Any ideas or help.

All 12v is supplied by the power unit which contains the charger. So lights, water pump and TV are supplied with 12v from the leisure battery, the ehu keeps the battery topped up.

With the EC328 PSU, my understanding is the 12v hab is supplied by the PSU when on EHU, any available power not used by hab electrics is used to charge the battery, which ever is selected. ie 25 amp available from PSu, hab being used 10 amps, 15 amps for charging.

There’s a 12v socket, cigarette lighter style, next to the aerial sockets. Just plug into that.

Thank you for explaining. Downsized from a coachbuild. That was slightly different. The TV point had both 12v and 240v sockets. On leisure we used the 12v supply, which had no power on EHU. So on on EHU we had to use the 240 power supply.Paulmold wrote:All 12v is supplied by the power unit which contains the charger. I can’t comment on your previous van not knowing the setup but I’m surprised that there was no power to the 12v socket when on EHU.
