Water leak 1995 Duetto
During heavy rain we have a persistent dripping water leak from the topmtracking for the sliding side door. Has anyone else come across this problem in the past? We have had an awning attached when we bought the van 4 years ago but this was checked out when we first noticed this leak and does not appear to be the problem.

Welcome to the forum neighbour (although I see you joined back in 2017). Can't say I've seen a Duetto around the town.

First suspect (if it were mine) would be the roof window immediately above it, with water tracking down behind the trim panel. Of course, it may be something else, but worth ruling that one out first.

Agree with this - we had a similar issue with our Trident on our first trip on the May Whit Bank Holiday. Horizontal rain coming in. Took it back to the dealer who couldn’t find anything. We have only had vertical rain since(!) but I reckon it is the leaky Parapress window and water tracking down to the sliding door. If we keep the van fir long enough I will replace the window.Roopert wrote:First suspect (if it were mine) would be the roof window immediately above it, with water tracking down behind the trim panel. It will almost certainly be the seal between the ParaPress window and the van, so it ~should~ just need popping out, cleaning up, new butyl rubber sealant applied and replacing. The seal strip that A/S now supply is significantly thicker than that fitted at the factory.
