AdBlue
Warwick Duo. 2500 miles. Adblue warning on dashboard. Not knowing anything but tne vaguest about adblue, I added a small (3.5 litres) pack from M6 daylight robbery service station. Same warning. Got home next day and sent off for 20 litres. Filled the tank to the brim. Warning still there. Weeks and 150 miles later, still the warning. Is it possible to manually re-set?

Dont buy too much.
Buying 20 litres is probably cheaper, but adblue has a shelf life so beware!!

Maybe some help in those threads (there's plenty more if you put Adblue in search box).

Re: AdBlue
Before Paul posted these links, didnt think to do a search on the forum for Victors query but did find some interesting info on next years Pugs - they will no longer be built in Italy, but Opel in Poland along with the Vauxhall Movano so I guess that says bibi to the Luton Van Plant
Stated figures for the AdBlue was 15L tank full should last 6200 miles

Much cheaper. It took around 10 litres i think.following your advice, i checked. The label says it's well in its use by. I will give the rest to a pal with a big removal truck that uses it.Brian6 wrote:Buying 20 litres is probably cheaper, but adblue has a shelf life so beware!!

Looks lime no way to reset and a trip back to the dealer. We love this Van but lots of niggles we shouldn't have with a brand new £55k vehicle!

Re: AdBlue
If stored in the dark it will last well beyond its shelf life. It is UV sensitive and the manufacturers can't guarantee how it will be stored.
Try turning on the ignition for a minute or two without starting, turn off and then start the engine.

Re: AdBlue
Do not store in sun light or it makes the mix to strong and can block the adblue system
Best to fill up at a truck filling station and use a pump to fill up then you have no storage problem
Putting a small volume will not all-ways put the warning light out it’s best to fill right up then the warning will reset
Just a few tips to help people

Re: AdBlue
I often add 5L and it has always reset the warning.
I found there is a 1500 mile warning, then if you carry on then after the 930 mile remaining mark, there is a mile by mile countdown. If yours is especially low then you may need more to reset it.
A full tank is 15 L on my 2017 Boxer.
I get over 500 miles per litre and I have a lead foot.
My problem was getting the adblue from the bottle into the tank because of the valve in the neck of the filler but it sounds like you have got past that issue.

When you have put the warring light on it sometimes needs a run then turn off engine then start again to reset the system .ref two drives and sounds like the reason you are now sorted

Re: AdBlue
Hi glyne. I did fill to the brim then it took far more than 2 runs. More like 15 and 200 miles in total. I had tried all the helpful hints. Ign on and wait etc etc. Like the nearly useless led lpg guage in the cab. It has a life of its own!

Re: AdBlue
Just a little up date
Adblue when it dries is like rock and can make level switches stick and then take time to Free up . Some vehicles it blocks the pump and has to be cleaned out as we had to with the pumps at the start of adblue on trucks but has now had mod up dates to help with pumps blocking . It’s best not to let the tank run low and start to dry out inside giving problems

Curiously the cheapest place to buy locally I found was the VW garage. Definitely no panic with 1000 miles+ advance notice

Gef, me too but folks here seem to be saying that shelf life goes up dramatically if stored cool and out of sunlight.

Re: AdBlue
According to ISO22241 the shelf life is a minimum of 18 months if stored below 25 degrees but doubles if below 10. This sensitivity to temperature as well as light makes it difficult to give a simple direct answer to the question.

That seems very different to the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for 10,000 km/6,200 miles:

The tank on mine is 14 litres according to the manual, and the calculator suggests 177-248 miles per litre, which is 5 litres every 885-1240 miles. I hope it's less, then I don't have to worry about finding some fairly soon.
