Warwick Duo Shower Tray Empty Warwick Duo Shower Tray

Post by hat004 Thu Jul 15, 2021 3:18 pm

When I use the shower in my Warwick Duo, I notice that water runs under the toilet area. After drying the shower, when we drive off some excess water seems to run back and re-wets the floor as there is no seal between the shower tray and the toilet panel. Does anyone know if the shower tray extends under the toilet holding the water in or is the water travelling any further and doing any damage?

I have sealed it with 100% waterproof sealant especially the right hand side facing loo.  You need to be carefull fitting the cassette  toilet back and avoid the base plate which can get stuck behind cassette

My supplier dealer sealed our one, then when I spoke to Mark at AS when he was still there he said NO WAY! Excess water needs to escape, so l unsealed ours. Yes we still get the problem hat004 reports, mostly if the van is not really level.

Thanks for that info. I wasn't to keen on sealing the shower tray to the toilet panel as there is quite a large gap between them. What you have said gives me some assurance that what is happening with the water is ok. I am therefore assuming that the upstand on the sides shower tray extends under the toilet cassette and thus prevents the water from causing any problems
