Water not coming out of taps
Hi, I have just bought my first camper, an old Ford Duetto. The water pump seems to be working when turn the switch on but no water comes out of the taps. The pump see to continue running even when taps turned off. There is also a small leak from the outlet tap on the fresh water tank . Any idea where I start . Thanks Dawn

Hello and welcome to this most friendly and informative forum. ?? likely air in the system usually when filling from empty. Can be resolved by initially opening a hot tap first to expel trapped air in the boiler. Other options will be coming your way soon.

Hello
If filling for first time the pump will run to fill the boiler first and until this is full you are unlikely to get any water from the taps. The leak may be caused by the separate boiler drain tap being open. This is usually a blue tap with a yellow lever, the lever needs to be flat and not upright otherwise the tank cannot fill and the pump will just keep running.
Welcolme and enjoy the fun days ahead
