Re: Microwave Problems
I have just fitted the flatbed microwave to the WXL in the same place the other was fitted, when I remove the old one I found that the two vents that are in the shelf that supports the microwave had pieces of ply put in blocking the vents as this is where the feet where.
I added 2 thicker screws to strengthen the shelf, the microwave fitted but height wise was a little tighter, plenty of space around the sides, back and below but now the ply has been removed should be plenty of ventilation,
When removing the old one it was secured with 4 thin screws, the new on is secured with 4 x 8mm x 50mm roofing bolts, I removed the bolt securing the rubber feet and just replaced with the longer bolts, hope that there are no rattles now
Old and new fixings
