I have one side window (sliding) on my van which is refusing to budge open.

Anyone any ideas on freeing it up before resorting to brute force?!! workout

Mine jammed a while ago. It was the runner lifting up with age. Push down on the runner and all was fine

Hi,

Not quite the answer to your question but my kitchen window was very stiff to open, I bought an aerosol of silicon which keeps it running smoothly.

I also had difficulty with a reflective pleated blind for ages, a few weeks ago i put some silicon on the plastic casing and it now works well.

From time to time I also spray all the rubber seals on the windows to keep the rubber soft and stop it from sticking to the perspex of the window.
