Hi all

Just purchased a 1998 Harmony (Boxer).

We found this under the sofa area (behind the passenger seat). Previous owner isn’t sure what it’s for - any ideas?

Many thanks :)

Don’t know about Harmony, but in our Duetto (2000) there’s a similar (back)panel which screws into cupboard under the cooker. Removal allows access to (Shurflo?) water pump, and hole gives access to switch on zig unit. Van in secure storage currently so this from memory rather than observation.
Regards,    Tim.

Hi AW Harmony wave , it looks like the cover for the hot water heater situated under the back seat behind the driver. If you slide the whole seat forward into settee position then lift the backrest you'll see a polystyrene covered water heater unit and that panel you found covers it up. If there's one there it may have been bought to replace what's there and never fitted. It doesn't look an easy fit though. Hope you enjoy your new to you van.
