12volt mod

Did a little mod today to the van, I removed the twin aerial sockets and installed a single aerial socket and 12v cigarette socket in its place, this enable me to add a twin USB adapter to the original cigarette socket to power the fire stick and charge a phone or tablet also[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I take it you don't use the satellite connection then, so no loss?

No not used and with using the fire stick everything is available, I was using the usb socket on the tv to power the fire stick but it was always a bit slow to respond, not now it has its own power supply

If I’d did need to use it I could just buy another socket the same but marked up for satellite
