Fuse holder missing

Fuse holder missing  Empty Fuse holder missing

Hi all new to this toilet not flushing opened outside door pulled cassette out and noticed this see pic( looking upwards)
Should there be a fuse and cap thing is that why toilet not working it’s a 1988 autosleeper legend gl manual petrol can’t load pic? Thank you paul

I assume the wires go underneath and connect to the cartridge fuse holder. If so it will be something like the unit at the link below:

You could replace it with any type of fuse holder and 5A fuse.

Hi.

These comments might help.

We had a non-flushing toilet when we bought ours (1996 Talent). Thetford c2. I found what turned out to be the fuse in one of the drawers with a broken plastic holder/cap.

What had happened is that the external plastic casing of the fuse holder had broken around its circumference. Hence the fuse couldn't be held in place.

My solution was to fix a new lever/blade unit. They are about Ā£40. It is secure by about four screws on the underside of the toilet casing. The fuse unit on the replacement was of a different design so I guess the original had a design fault that Thetford improved on.

You might have a different toilet/ problem, but your picture does look like what i saw with ours.

It should be possible to fit a new in line fuse and by pass the broken fues holder. First step would be to investigate by removing the lever unit.
